How do these things work anyways? ... I'm having trouble understanding how they're universal. Are you supposed to hardwire it using ECU pinouts? If they're designed to intercept a sensor signal, wouldn't you need a full pinout diagram of ur ecu?

and what about MAP and MAF sensors? ... are they treated the same?
