I would add. Can the emoticons. If you are able to write clearly there is no need for smiley asses. Secondly remove the post count under people's names. Unless the number somehow adds creedence to their post, as in, "wow he's posted a lot,he must know what he's talking about".

It is not enough that people take the crap off-line. But that when there is a solution to something it get posted. It is very discouraging to find someone has posted a question to something that of interest to others, and to find the person has circumvented the board entirely by sending a private message and the rest of us are wondering the result of the repair, mod, or just as important the failure of the said fix.
