Nick, you're right. People who sit there and hate by bending the words of their holy book is BS *cough* al Queda *cough* But this isn't stretching or bending. The Bible says that its wrong, and that they will not see the light of heaven. You don't care? OK thats fine. I'm not basing my discust for them on that, I was merely proving Bumnah wrong. Everything we view is based on what society things. If rape was ok, and it was just another thing, as in there were millions of rapists, just like gays (y ou have to think abstractly here) and they spread the message that it was ok, and they were born wanting to rape, they couldn't help it... does that make it ok? Same with murders. Do you(generalized) think that murders are ok? They have a mental disease, but would you still hate a murderer if he killed one of your friends or family. Probably, even though he was most liekly born(or was altered) with an altered brain chemisty that made him think it was ok?

Almost everything we view is based on what society thinks and feels as a complex whole. Most of our laws, and social views(which keep getting more broad) started with the words of the Bible, like it or not. The bible said it was wrong, therefor it was. Its only been in the last hundred to 200 years or so that society has REALLY started getting away from these 'old school' teachings. Maybe its good, maybe its bad. I personally view it as bad.
Now i'm not saying I am some relgious freak, and I live every moment of life in the Eyes of God. I don't. I am a Christian, and I am saved, and I am going to Heaven. But, I still sin. I have a relationship with God, and it may not be as good as a lot of these super religous people, but oh well. So don't try and come at me saying something like 'oh, so you're this great person who never sins, who are you to pass judgement' you're right, but whatever. None of you are any better than me. This post was supposed to be faily simple, although when i first posted i knew it would not be.

Bumnah personally attacked me. That was rude and immature. Instead of disucssing this like a civilized human being, he chose to be childish and start name calling. but Nick, you're right. This is a message board. People have different opinions, and you can only argue your side so much.

I'm not preaching hatred. I don't call those who have sympathy for the homosexuals any bad words, I don't try to change their view. I don't press my views onto anyone else, I am just backing myself up for what I belevie in.
