every fuel rail for the b16a that i've seen had the fuel line connect on the left from the fuel filter, and go back to the fuel return line was on the right of the fuel rail.
every b16a has the fuel line run to it from the passanger side of the car....I think you are getting confused as to which side supplies the fuel
