I actually take delivery of my new van tomorrow morning, so in the next couple of days I will pull the deck to see if the connector is labelled.

I figured that the adapter needed to fool the deck into thinking there was a changer and that it's more complex than a simple "power this line" kind of deal because the bus also appears to be used for the external cassette player. I was just thinking that I might be able to do a little more than just feed the audio. I haven't been able to find any technical specifications on the M-bus and how it works. If I could find that it would be a simple matter to create an adapter.
