i think he was referring to those "HONDA TUNING" books and the like. ive seen a few of em on amazon.com
havent bought those yet, but im sure you would learn something from them.
right now ive only read "maximum boost" and of course the entire 1400 page helms for my car.
a friend recomended "maximum boost" to me when i started experimenting with DSM's a while back.

I actually said Hayes, but that's not who I was thinking of either. Hayes is a publisher of some photography books I've bought. HP Books is who I'm thinking of. HP publishes the performance stuff including the Honda/Acura engine building and the books by Smokey Yunich... and my previous post has been editted to reflect that.
