a b16a2 can't be jdm because it ends numerically, thats USDM spec.
the b16a2 is from 99-00 civic si (USDM) and is OBD2

the b16a1 im pretty sure is from 92-95 USDM civic hatchie's, si's and it was OBD1

there are 2 different b16a motors, the 1st gen VTEC motor, with a cable tranny, and the 2nd gen VTEC motor with a hydraulic tranny. pretty sure the latter is 160 HP while the cable tranny carries 150 HP and a different ECU.
