It's not factory offered. Comptech makes a blower kit, and many Honda/Acura dealers are suppliers.
The blower doesn't really impress me to be honest with you. It made an additional 30HP (on 6psi I think?) of pressure for a total of 230HP in the 6th gen. Now I don't know if they limited the boost output because of the automatic transmission, or whatever.
I imagine some retooling needed to be done if it were to go on a 7th gen V6 although the engines are still pretty similar. The stock 7th gen. V6 makes 240HP, a full 10HP more than an aftermarket blown J30 did in the 6th gen.
I guess my point is, at least from what I've seen, a Comptech supercharger for this engine is a waste of money. They run you close to $3000, or $1000 for every 10HP. :ugh:
What I want to see is a J32 Type S or or '04 TL head on a 6th gen. J30 block.
