I wouldn't **** with it on the tb, but it sounds like you need to clean out the iac. They get gunked up and the stepper motor in them doesn't like to move as well. take that son of a b@!% off and spray it out with intake cleaner/carb cleaner.

it was very thoroughly cleaned when I replaced the mani with a p30....I am gonna double check for boooobles in the coolant...I know there is no vacuum leak...hmmmm
