Speak for urself. It doesn;t seem like a good thing that this would happen. U must have used the wrong combination of parts. My Eibach sportlines and tokico struts can raise with no problem. I would flip my shit if they came appart like u mentioned. What if u were halling ass and ur car became airborne. The spring would become loose and fall out of place, then u land and ur suspension is dead LOL. Far fetched but I wouldn't want my car like that.
I saw in ur pick u have sportlines, they come with tubing on the coils.
When I called Eibach about my cluncking problem they told me that the spring should have 5mm of space where it fits onto to the perch on the bottom of the strut. hmm to explain it better: The end of the coil should have 5mm of space between the end of the perch. so instead of:
