here's the story: i just bought the car last month, it came with a crappy cassette player (not stock). that worked on and off, and i wanted to get rid of it anyway. the new head unit is an aiwa. when i connected it there was no power. all the fuses are good as i said, but there is no power from the 12v + acc/ignition original wiring (at the harness). the original 12v + constant works fine at the harness. that's why i'm so baffled!
