I know this is off topic but 70 lbs ?!!!! wow thats a lot for a civic. If I were you I would try to just modify the box.... other than that the only thing I can think of is wedging something between it and the sides.... or maybe attaching it from the bottom with a plate and some screws if you dont mind drilling into things...
