I'd reccomend covering all electrical parts first off. Then I'd hose down the firewall simple green it to death, use a sponge if you can get your hands in there, let it sit for about five minutes and rinse, should look good

I don't think I'm so worried about the intake right now as it's acting as a functional piece. When money allows I'll replace it with a J's Racing intake (i'm not sure they fit on the gsr manifold anyways). I was thinking about wrapping it in thermal tape...but I don't know if that would impeded it's performance at all.
