Since you asked here is pretty much any person with d series engines best choices. Either an 5th gen Ex/Si tranny, or the 6th gen Ex tranny. The differences are the 5th gen Si has a slightly taller final drive if I remember than the 5th gen Ex tranny. The 6th gen Ex has the same final drive as the Si tranny but it has a Steel shift fork. So the best tranny IMHO is the 6th gen EX tranny.
