You got me wrong. Im not saying by slapping on a RSX-S muffler on the car will give you 170hp. Im saying it can support 170hp with no problems. Its more free flowing than the accord muffler and as quiet as one. You dont see accord laying down 170hp to the ground often anyway so having the muffler isnt hurting anyone.
When youre making 170hp with your F/H/turbo/etc setup and you feel your muffler/exhuast set up is holding back your power then that would be the time to switch up the exhuast. But since most accords arent laying down that much... whats a more free flowing, quiet, cheap, quality built RSX-S exhaust gonna hurt?
