You can delete this thread later, but I figured why not offer some public praise too. Just wanted to say thanks for the amazingly quick shipping, Josh. Thanks to you, this little swap project is staying on schedule. So the moral of the story is, "As usual, Josh =

".
In order to make this sort of a useful thread, here's a pic of what's been happening. That's a B18C1 sitting in the corner.
Some good advice (Some is "Duh" ; Some is maybe not)
1. If you can avoid it, don't do a swap in a garage this small!
2. Borrow or buy air tools. I've done projects before without, and it's not nearly as fun.
3. Ordering a motor online will always be better than the deal from the local salvage yard unless you know the guy. I've been getting nickel/dimed to death.
4. If you can afford to, take your time with it. Sure you can get it done quickly but I'd rather do it right the first time, and this is my first swap so...
5. Don't get scared of swaps unless you're really really unskilled. There are little road-blocks but as long as you've got a back-up car, you'll be just fine.
Anyway, I'll be sure to post the play-by-plays around the end of the month. Things should be wrapping up then, and with any luck, I'll have a decent how-to for you all.
Thanks again, Josh!
