Hello all,

I have a 2k GSR. Ive got 68k on it. In Dec ,03 I installed new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Did so, beauce my milliage was horriable. Then in late december, I got hit with a check engine light. Took the car to dealership, they said you need valve adjustment.

They did it with my engine warm/cold, who knows (I had no time at the momen (dec24th) in 2 hours. Mechanic said he didnt like my wires or my NGKs thats were one month old fouled plugs! Hum, he wanted me to buy new wires and plugs. Plugs being 20ea and the stock wires were like 65. I passed on both and said I'll get new plugs tomorrow on my own. These wires would be returned before I purchased stock 7.5mm cheapys.. Three weeks later I changed the plugs to bosh platiums. I did it because I noticed ONE check engine light which DIDNT stay long.

So, its been like 2 1/2 months. I got hit with another CEL light. Checked it out on my own (CEL CHECK CODE TWEAK) and I have a misfire problem Code 72! Thats number 2 plug. Its noticiable too. my idle is ok... but the air flow out myexhaust is sputtery. So I checked my wires, pulled my plugs. Only number 2 looked fouled, switched my two middle plugs to see if it would generate new code on the other plug number and it didnt.

So, Ive got bad plug again, Im still not getting good gas milliage (I use good gas too), my wires are 3 months old and even though there APC there nice. Ceramic base for plug attachment, tight wrapping, so no water it getting it, they seem good quality but who knows, they are APC brand... I wanted ACCEL, but no stock at the time.

What could cause this? Did the valve adjustment with a warm/hot engine do nothing? Should I make them redo it? OR is it my wires? And if wires, why is my two plug so dirty/fouled? Could it be fuel injectors need cleaning? WHY AM I GETING FOULED! WHY AM I MISFIRING? WHY WHY WHY!...Lol Help me out peeps! PLEASE!
