I replaced my halfshaft on my honda yesterday and it was a piece of cake to do. I learned from doing the one on my mazda that you just replace the whole shaft, replacing the boot is not worth the time or effort. We spent hours trying to get parts off the old shaft to get to the inner boot cause if its the inner boot you have to take off the outter boot too. Its a pain. Just replace the whole thing.
