no gaming then i'd go with a D500 from dell's small business site, bout $900. exactly the same as the 600m/D600 but minus the 3d graphics card.
btw, "Centrino" is a package, Pentium M processor + Intel 802.11b wireless + Intel 855 chipset. the processor alone is a Pentium M, not "Centrino"
