I have a loud humming noise at 40 mph and above. It doesnt seem to be coming from the engine compartment but rather the rear wheels or axle. Also there is an inordinate amount of black stuff on one of my rear wheels, there is road construction down the street and I assumed that it was just tar but now am unsure. Can anyone help?
