yeah, i didnt get a short shifter, what i did is have my friend cut 2 sections out of a stock shifter so it looked "sporty" but it makes no difference in my shift times. ill have pics of that up tomorrow.
i must say that the new bushings to make the shifter feel a lot more solid, no more side to side play with the shifter while its in gear... i like it :thumbup:

it was a bitch to work on that thing for 2 reasons:
1. i kept my stock exhaust on - being a WS and not stock, that made things worse but i got around it okay... just took some more time.
3. those stupid stupid bolts they used to hold the shifter retainer on the linkage were a bitch.... i ended up drilling one of them out and employing my dad to hold the 2nd one with vice grips while i worked the nut off.
