you drive dont you? dont you know that driving kills? put yourself in a high speed metal cage every day and its not unlikely that you'll end up maimed or killed. that doesnt stop us though does it? just because racing is dangerous doesnt make racers stupid. it makes them risk takers. when they put other people's lives at risk, then it is a sick situation. people who talk on their cell phones while driving are no different, frankly. they put other people at risk because they want to gossip with their friends. in my opinion there is nothing morally wrong with racing on an empty road. its no different from racing at a track, aside from the illegality of it.
ill admit that street racing is illegal, and maybe we shouldnt talk about it in a public forum for that reason. however i will not agree that anyone who condones street racing is promulgating carnage. in fact i find it offensive.
