No, it sounds likes it coming straight from the tranny. I had my friend drive it while I was in the passenger side and put my ear right over the shift knob. I can't really describe the sound. It has rattling/grinding/sounds like metal hitting metal sound??? best I can do. I let my clutch out real slow when I am backing up and the sound comes from another location like my clutch-flywheel location, if that makes any sense....I fwacking pissed!
