So my car was blocking in his and we were going to dinner for a fish fry because that's the thing to do in Buffalo on a Friday night and he's driving, and I'm in the backseat and he stops, accelerates, then stops at another stop sign and the engine redlines and he swears his foot was on the brake. Yeah ok I don't understand how the torque converter would be locking up when he didn't go over 20 because the stop signs are fairly close. He does this over and over and over and keeps putting it in Neutral. My mom just asked me and of course, no. So she drives it and it's fine. My dad started to flip out on us because we must be horrible drivers or something. I think he's just staying on the gas too long.

This happens in his car too, but has never happened to me or my mom in that car either. So now they're driving my mom's car.
Although my transmission shifts abrubtly...stupid autotragic. None of our other cars shift that rough. I'm beginning to question it all.
