We went to Stone Mountain, GA (outside of Atlanta) for a few days. Drove all around Atlanta...ate some good food, and we..err, um, she did lots of shopping. The weather was beautiful there..kind of secluded, but only like 15 mins from the beltline in Atl. I also had scheduled some spa treatments for her while we were there. Here's a tip guys...while on your honeymoon...I highly suggestly that you have something like this done for your new wife...whether it's a nice long massage, or some sort of body wrap, etc. Trust me...after all the "stress" that Michelle went through, it was a huge blessing for me to do that for her. Not to mention that gave me about and hour and a half to go out and get some nice stuff for her and make dinner reservations for the next few nights as a suprise for her. Spend the money..it's worth it. She was sooooo chill for the next few days...hahaha. After that we ended up going to the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. Originally we were planning on going to her grandparents cabin in Boone, NC, but the very low temperatures changed that due to worrying about busted pipes, etc. The Gorve Park Inn was awesome though. We had a very nice room with a view of Ashville, and even better, the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was awesome to wake up to see the fog over the city and between the mountains and to see the mountains surrounding you....you just had to be there. We ate at some very nice restaurants while in Asheville..Michelle and I did more shopping. This place is definately first class. We are talking about going back in 6 months and both of us going to the spa they have there for a day. This place is very highly rated and is world-famous. So..in a nutshell, that's what we did. We went to a lot of cool places in Atlanta and Asheville, and we totally had a blast...no agenda...no schedule except for dinner reservations. It was awesome!!
