1) What is the preferred oil for the 1.6L I4 motor? I'm guessing Mobil 1 Synthetic would be a good choice? 5w-30 Mobil 1 is fine.
2) How about oil filter? I try to stay away from fram and some of the other infamous brands. Just stick with OEM Honda filters.
3) Spark plugs? I used Bosch Plantium +4s and they increase mileage and smoothed out my idle. Now I use Denso Iridiums for racing.
4) Spark plug wires? really any wire will do.
5) Front brake pads? AEMs
As far as who changed the oil I would just change it to be safe. You never know what cheap junk they put in your car.
