Are you lowered? The gsr or any of those vtec headers will sit lower then a normal nonvtec ls header. Maybe just an inch lower, but a inch is extreme if your lowered. If you want to have a header ripped off easily while driving go ahead and buy that header.... Not smart idea to do that. Vtec engines are just a bit longer verticle if you get what i'm saying? People will complain about scratching their dc 4-1 header for their ls's now just imagine what could happen with that header... I personally bought the DC's JDM 4-1 stainless steel 2.5 inch collector header. It's actually for a type r (which is vtec) so it would have sat about an inch lower then usual on my car. The local shop in my area told me i'd have this torn off with how low my car is...

-also my friend who has a type r has the same DC header and it sat lower on his car (its ment for) and he's banged his up pretty bad. 4-1 headers are no good if your lowered. I'd go with just a really nice brand name 4-2-1 header made for your ls.
