Actually there is no doctrine that states you CAN't drink caffine. True we stay away from coffee but the reason for that isn't because of the caffine. The doctrinal reason is because of what caffine has in it. Coffee contains tanic-acids which are also used to tan hides of animals. Those tanic acids are very tough on your stomach as well as your body. Hopefully this helps you out Nightshade.
Not really because it still doesn't answer the reasoning of why you can contribute to the worlds demise when the church takes a very strong view towards the consumption of caffeine.
