Strut bars work, but the difference isn't noticed nearly as much when you are doing regular everyday driving as opposed to motocross type of driving. In terms of what you want that is definitely only your choice because it all depends on how much you want to push your car to the extreme, and so you just have to do the research to figure out what you want. Typically top notch strut bars and sway bars will be around 200+.

With my car, after adding 17" rims with high performance tires I was satisfied then with how my car handled and then choosed to go the more performance route with my engine and audio instead.
