Can you prove to me without a doubt that god does indeed exist? Probably not because if you coud then what is the point behind faith?
Fait is the assured expectation of things though not yet beheld. Therefore if you knew for a fact that god did or did not exist there would be no point behind having faith in anything let alone a faith in a god.
Nightshade brings up a great point. Sure there are evidences that God does exist, just ask those who have had a near death experience or simply had a prayer answered. But we also must have faith as well, because we don't know everything.
Really it comes down to what you believe. Now I agree with Tirod that the Lord has set up everything and created everything.
