Yeah I definitely would from my own experience. When I had an '88 accord, the transmission started to go and not shift from 2nd to 3rd on cold mornings. Changed the tranny fluid to Honda AT fluid and it fixed the problem...for that winter...then I sold it b/c the tranny started acting up again later on.
