Default 5th Gen Exhaust Pricing

Here's the situation guys...

I currently have a custom exhaust that has 2.25 inch piping from the converter back to the stainless muffler. I'm wanting to put stock piping and the stock muffler back on. I didn't keep the old stuff, so I'll be getting new parts. I've called some local shops and got their quotes for the full job. The prices range from $275 - $575. I know that the $575 uses Honda parts, but that can't be the only difference. One of the shop owners told me that the price difference came from these smaller shops bending their own pipe, and welding it... instead of bolt-on.

So. here is my question... Is it bad to spend the smaller amount of money and get the piping that is bent in the shop, and then welded in to place? I plan keeping the car for another 3 years.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
