- To begin with, there was no ITR in the US prior to '97. The '97 obviously has the older-style front and rear bumpers and the red/amber taillights. Interior-wise, the '97 has a steering wheel that says "ACURA". It has no rear wiper, and A/C was not standard. Championship White is the only color choice

- Switched to the newer bumpers and all red taillights. The steering wheel has the "A" symbol on it. A/C is still not standard. CW remains the only color. Rear wiper is added

- No ITR in US.

-2001 A/C is now standard. Intake cam is made slightly more agressive (many believe to account for the more "restrictive" OBD-IIb). Immobilizer is added, and the ITR-specific keys are eliminated. Interior has faux carbon fiber accents and the leather shiftknob of the prior years is replaced with a "titanium-finish" knob. Steering ratio also changes from 16.1:1 to 15.7:1. Color choices are now Phoenix Yellow or Flamenco Black Pearl (Nighthawk Black Pearl for '01) with Kaiser Silver Metalic wheels. Floormats also varied across the model years.

Those are all the basics that I can think of right now.
