So far we have run at BeaveRun, Pocono-long course and Watkins Glen with no brake issues using the AEM pads. I am not super hard on brakes to begin with. When there has been a need on track to get on them really hard-they are always there for me. I use nothing but Honda or FORD HD brake fluid and NO boiling so far.
This has been my experience with 2 fast cars and the only problem we ever had was with a set of stock pads on the Prelude at The Glen. Changed them out and the problem went bye-bye. Will I go to Carbotech or Performance Friction on the CRX-maybe when I finally do an enduro or am on a very tight track. VIR has its moments but no worse than Summit or BeaveRun in my opinion. Just my experiences so far with the CRX in particular.
For those who autocross I do not feel that super performance brake pads and rotors will do that much overall. If you are racing on a course where there is little time for the brakes to cool down-then you will want something more heat friendly.
