Actually, it's been a pretty consistant rumor over the years that Y8's have knock sensors. I personally don't think so and don't ever remember seeing one when changing my oil, but then again, I never looked that hard. I've run across a few people who will swear they do. I though Honda would only put a knock sensor on a car that required premium fuel (to protect against low octane fuel detonating) but I could be wrong.
