With my experience with NGK, they are pretty close to the correct gap, but you should deffinately check the gap to be sure. Plantinum plugs will be fine, but won't be any better than the regular OEM copper plugs.

You can get MSD external coil and cap, but if you just have a stock D16z6 it is kind of pointless.

What are you expecting to get with these "mods"?
