Hi, I bought a used 1999 HONDA CRV and it did have a problem with the rear differential, I had the fluid changed etc but eventually after breaking it down it needed parts replaced as per the bulletin. The screech is gone but there is still a noise that has also been there from day one as well. It's a quiet errr errr errrr noise that just doesn't sound natural. I read a thread about a clanking noise when you break but this also happens when I'm driving and it really isn't a clank. It's been 10 months and no one has been able to diagnose it. The car had 45,000 mi. on it when I bought it and I've only put 3,000 on it. Any suggestions?
