Yeah, I read that one too. The author's name is Marc Barth. I think (and hope) his experience was an isolated incident. After carefully analyzing his report, I think he might have overtightened the s/c drive belt (leading to the nose bearing failure). Since I do all the work myself, I won't have to "ship it" anywhere if something goes wrong; I can just order the parts and repair the unit myself .

That's what I was planning to do at first. Then I came up short on cash and decided to just follow JR's advice and leave the stock injectors in, as the technician said. Haven't had any problems with the rich/lean thing, but I agree that it would be good to do this especially when you upgrade the intake and t-body .
