thats the thing, I won't be glassing over the airbag itself, will just be making a cutout in the fiberglass so it sits flush, and will probably sand off the texture on the airbag cover, and paint it to match, I have painted other dashes before this way and if you prep it properly, it comes out nice. I just have never removed an airbag before, the one I did was sanded in place, and masked off for paint.
