My I4 LX '04 Accord has plenty of power. I'm driving a stick, so I can't say what the auto drives like, except that mine is much more peppy than the '96 auto LX Accord my wife drives. The handling is decent, but it does have a little body roll on bumpy turns. In my opinion it sits a tad high, too. It sits much higher then the '96. A sports car it is not, but then it's not made to be. I've been impressed with the stopping power of the ABS brakes/Michelin tires on wet roads. When dry, if I launch it hard it will burn the tires like mad, but I get excessive shuddering if I let it go too long. (Again, not a sports car but I don't make that a habit either.) When driving, it's markedly quieter then the '96, too. The fitment of body panels is incredible, and the interior has a quality feeling to it (typical Honda). Also, my gas mileage has been 34 on the highway.
