The reason people have burnoff is due to high engine temperatures in conjunction with outside air temps.
The solution should be to add an oil cooler after monitoring oil temps.
For instance, I burn up to 1.5-2 quarts of oil per track day when the OAT is above 80F. When the temp is around 70F, I burn almost nothing.
Switching oils is a temporary fix that masks another problem.
