I had a pair of piaa foglights installed 2 years ago. A year ago one of them starting flickering, and eventually didn't work at all. Then the other one went. When you look at the first one that went out, it had burned up, melting the coating on the inside and cracking the lense. I have since then removed the foglights, keeping the wiring connected. My first question is why did they lights burn up? Might it be a wiring problem? Secondly, I am looking for new foglights. Will I be able to connect the new foglights(might not be piaa) to the existing wiring if the wiring wasn't the problem?
