I could be a millionaire and won't buy my kid a car, he/she is gonna work for it, I'll buy them a new car or give them a DP on a house once they graduate school(college/trade) or get married, but not for getting accepted to college.
It's great ur dad got u a car, I just hope you appreciate it as much as if you worked hard to pay for it yourself. good luck w/ the BM
