The last thing I realized about BMWs is that if it isn't an M, it isn't worth it. I hate the concept of paying for a name and status. Status doesn't mean jack to me. This is why I've decided once and for all on a 240SX. All the features, 2500 bucks less. I also found out the insurrance for the 240SX will be $60 more a year, not $400. My parents can't get an insurrance quote right, so I got it myself. Sorry, BMW people.

I mean to analyze why buy a car just for a name? The BMW isn't getting any more out of their 318ti than Acura got out of an Integra LS years ago. Not to mention 115hp out of their 316ti while Honda has 127 out of their basic 1.6l. They also have a few extra pointless features like auto up/down driver/passenger window switches. I'm not hating on the BMWs, it just frustrates me that I get less for my money if I bought one and would have to pay greater insurrance.
