well, it is obviously better to have a lower compression when boosting. in your case, if you don't really know what you're doing, it might be safer for you to go with the h23 and turbo that. higher compression engines take a lot more tuning and work with a turbo. i would definitely suggest building the internals if you're going with the h22 (either one)
