:squint:
Thursday night, by rearview mirror falls off...
Friday night, we take Jackie's car to go out.. no biggie... I move my car behind hers incase my mom has to go somewhere in the morning.
The next morning... we go to leave to get repair stuff for the mirror, and I get into my car to move it so we can take Jackie's car, (since I have no rearview) and I notice she has a flat tire.
Pile in to my car, go get metal binding epoxy to bind the metal on the mirror to the metal still remaining on the windshield. No go. We loosen a screw on the back of the mirror, thinking it may release the ball from the joint socket and we wouldn't have to hold the entire mirror up for 10 minutes. No go. It looses the nut inside the mirror.. and now it's completly useless.
We go to another auto store, buy a new mirror. Go to slide it on to the exsiting metal plate still on the windsheild... the plate is to small to fit in the groove. Go to another auto store, get the rearview mirror adheisive. (We had other running around to do.. so it's now dark) And we're both too sick of car shit to do anything at the moment.
This morning:
Go outside... all rested and ready to tackle the car shit. I bind the new metal slab to the old one with the metal epoxy. Jackie says the lug nuts are pretty damn rusted.. so, I take a peak and start stepping on the wrench to get it to turn. No go... I stand on it... still nothing... I jump a little... I hear a little creak.. then I jump again. *SNAP* Nut snapped in half. Call AAA to get a tow truck

Go back to my car and put on the new mirror. :yay: tow truck comes, get replacement tire, and then she's taking it to get the bolt out tomorrow.
Cliff notes: Lots of annoying shit goes wrong with both mine and my girlfriend's cars this weekend.
But all is well in the end. :happysad: And if you read all that, you deserve a pat on the back.
