(1)Christ really did say, "It is the truth I tell you, that all things will be forgiven men...." He then goes on to explain that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the one thing that God has a had time forgiving, but fundamentalist Christians define this sin in whatever terms satisifies them, and whatever terms will continue to make people donate to their coffers. Most organised Christian religions do the same thing. But all I see is Christ saying that he would forgive everything, and it seems to me that the worst offenders of blaspheming the Holy Spirit are probably making money on their religions, and probably doing it on television.
God WILL forgive anything, however the Blasphemy being talked about is the one unforgivable sin...And that would be not accepting Jesus Christ, and asking for forgiveness.
Christ promised to forgive all sin, and he died on the Cross for that purpose. However he cannot forgive that which you do not want to be forgiven of. The only unforgivable sin is the blasphemy of rejecting the holy spirit.(Rejecting the holy spirit is the sin)
Christianity has been perverted by men wanting to gain some extra $$ with their television programs, it really is sad. But rest assured, they'll get their payment in eternity for all the souls they led away from the truth.
