well thanks for all the responses and I am glad to say that I have solved all the problems at this time.
here is what I did.
The filter had come out of the missing link put a new one in solved the detnation problem.
Bought new NGK plugs.
adjusted the the MF2 controller to be leaner through 5000 - 7000 rpm and that solved the down curve it was boosting and pulling right through all rpm range.
I thought I might be getting to much back pressure in the in the catalitic converter so I made a straight pipe and took out the cat. all pipe is now 2 1/2".
It pulled very hard so I have a big

again.
Now I just wonder what the true HP is with the drop at 5000rpm gone??? any one got a guess.
