Yes, it would DEFINTELY would be worth it for you to get an H22 if plan on keeping your Prelude, or staying in the compact [sport] coupe class. Your F22 is crap in your lude right now, and it probably seems discouraging/not too fast...Swap an H22 in there, and it will be like day and night, trust me...

Dude, it's a GREAT upgrade! I did the same exact swap as you did, and I've been extremely satisfied ever since I did it. The H23 is a great engine, don't get me wrong, it's got the same torque as the H22, but the VTEC gives the H22 those 30-40 extra horses...The F22 [in a Prelude] is crap...

I disagree with you here. What is a "true racer" to you? The only "true racer" that's gonna tell you that an auto is better for racing is someone who's building and racing hot rods/drag racers for the strip ONLY...If you spent the money to buy a JDM H22 with an auto tranny setup, and this is your daily driver/street car, I feel bad for you man
