Well, if you're on stock suspension, then it's not gonna be much different with an aftermarket suspension. In fact, it might be worst with an aftermarket suspension. The reason why you're feeling everything on the road is because of the smaller sidewall of your tires (I'm guessing that you have 205/40/17).
But don't think that it's all bad. You did gain better steering response (but you probably didn't notice that) in exchange for the horrible ride quality.
